6. Logistics

1. Production calendar: pre-pro 1-2 weeks ahead, casting, location scout, fittings, shoot day, post.
2. Equipment rental: book gear at least 5-7 days in advance during high season (Sep-Nov, Mar-May).
3. Permits: if shooting on public streets in Valencia, Alicante or Castellón, request the municipal permit 2-3 weeks ahead.
4. Insurance: equipment + civil liability are mandatory for most studios and rental houses.

Do I really need a DIT for a one-day shoot?

If the client is on set, yes. A DIT delivers tethered capture, color reference, instant approval and backups — meaning fewer reshoots and a cleaner post-production handoff. For commercial fashion, it is standard.

What is the difference between Profoto B1, B10 and B30?

The B1 is the workhorse 500 Ws battery strobe, the B10 is a compact 250/500 Ws option ideal for location and travel, and the B30 delivers higher output for studio beauty and large modifiers.
